Karim Nagi composed these 8 original songs in traditional regional Arab folkloric dance styles. This includes Dabke Near East Line Dance, Saidi Southern Egyptian Stick Dance, Moroccan Shaabi, Bedouin Folk, Sufi Dervish Zikr, Iraqi Hecha & Hewa, and Khaliji Gulf genre. The album is concluded by a traditional medley from around the arab world. This album included performances and taqasim solos on traditional instruments by Chicago's finest Arab musicians. Nagi propels the album with his skillful percussion, buzuq additions, and vocal arrangements. The album sounds full & bold, while evoking the authentic character of traditional Arab music.
